So, we’re still playing a bit of catch up – here’s our last October wedding! Rachel and Waylon were married at the quaint and colorful Springfield Women’s Club on a beautiful autumn day. Surrounded by close friends and family, Rachel and Waylon said I do and became husband and wife! Even though we’ve shot almost 400 weddings, the idea of two becoming one is always exciting! Vicki & Joseph’s Beautiful Ocean Breeze Wedding

We had the pleasure of shooting Vicki and Joseph’s awesome fall-themed wedding out at Mayport recently. The wedding was held out at the Gazebo at Ocean Breeze, with the reception inside. The perfectly crisp weather was a wonderful compliment to their fall colors. Thanks again for inviting us to be part of your day!

UPDATED: The Heavens Declare the Glory of God!

I just had to share this photo with you. Tonight, after a wonderful engagement session at Hannah Park and Historic Mayport, I hung out a while, in awe of the sunset. With the cooler weather has come some amazing sunsets this week (more photos coming soon), but this one took the cake. The different cloud levels made for a wide variety of bright vibrant colors!

This shot in particular is a 92 second time exposure (see how smooth the water looks and the movement in the clouds – long time exposures are how you get that effect). I’ve done light editing on the image, but what you see here is just about how I experienced it.

Sunsets like these remind me of a verse from Psalm 19: “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Amen and Amen!

Miranda & Richard’s Classic Ocean Breeze Wedding

Despite one of those inconvenient Florida thunder storms bringing the festivities inside, Miranda and Richard had a truly beautiful wedding. Hosted at the Ocean Breeze at NS Mayport, the venue provided a wonderful backdrop for all their festivities. The catering staff did a wonderful job as well – presenting a truly beautiful selection of Tapas to choose from. So, future brides, don’t worry – if it rains, you’ll still get awesome pictures!
