Last Friday I had the chance to work with our friends from Dostie Homes on another one of their absolutely stunning model homes – this time in the Palencia neighborhood. Dostie Homes again teamed up with the very talented Josie Myers, owner of Ms. J Design, and the combination of this great floor plan and Josie’s artist’s eye for interior design makes for one great model! Be sure to check out all the unique details – from the use of some great accent colors, to the gigantic two story foyer – and don’t overlook the really neat super-sized landing / sitting area and adjacent office.
Be sure to check out all the great details in the gallery below – there is a lot to take in! And, as always, check out some of our favorite shots from this shoot below.

This past week we had the opportunity to work with Dostie Homes on another one of their great custom homes in the Mandarin area. Elements of note in this home include three bays of ultra-wide sliding doors that blend the line between indoor and outdoor living, as well as some really innovative fixtures and accessories that nicely compliment the overall design. As always, check out some of our favorite shots from this shoot below.
We once again had the pleasure of shooting a beautiful Dostie Homes project – this time a wonderfully designed and decorated model home in the new St Augustine neighborhood of Las Calinas. While I enjoy all our architectural projects, there is nothing quite like shooting a well designed and staged home – as was certainly the case with this great property. Dostie Homes teamed up with talented interior designer Josie Myers, owner of Ms. J Design, to highlight the great potential this open floor plan home has to offer.
Be sure to check out all the great details in the gallery below – there is a lot to take in! From design elements like the coffered ceilings, intricate moldings and innovative use of nooks and spaces, to the perfectly paired furniture, fixtures and accessories that give each room their own distinct personality – this home is really worth not only a visit here on the blog, but an actual tour should you find yourself in the St Augustine area. Late last week, we spent the evening with Dostie Homes, photographing a pair of their Mediterranean-inspired homes in Jacksonville’s Queen’s Harbor neighborhood. This particular part of Queen’s Harbor is built around an alley system with deep, narrow lots, however despite the geographical restrictions, Dostie managed to create two stunning, spacious 3000+ square foot homes that feel anything but narrow.
As part of our continued efforts to expand our capabilities, we invested in one of those expanding step ladders that allow us to shoot from a height of 13 feet with ease – allowing for elevated shots (top) – and providing for a unique perspective. We also experimented with multiple lighting sources with this shoot, which helped us to light distant areas more evenly and provide some creative lighting ideas to the shoot. As always, check out some of our favorite shots from this shoot below.
On Monday we had the pleasure of shooting another great piece of architecture for our friends at Dostie Homes in Jacksonville’s Glen Kernan community. The weather wasn’t as cooperative as we had hoped, but it wasn’t as rough as we have had it in the past either – so, we made the most of it and overall, I think things turned out quite well.
The interior of this million dollar home was filled with many surprising extras and unique design elements, such as this amazing study above. Dostie is always big on small details – making the overall aesthetic impressive.
Lastly, we have a bit of a bonus. Next door to the house we were shooting is another Dostie home recently completed. It’s footprint is similar to one of the first houses we photographed for Dostie (Dramatic Dostie Home is Pablo Creek), and the homeowner was nice enough to allow us a few exterior photos. Above is my favorite shot, complete with a speeding flock of geese. Check out some of our favorite shots from this shoot below.
